OLD MUSIC

I dont know if I ever posted this music or not but this is music that I had done a long time ago, back when I still using that old Zophar NES bank and everything sounded like Mega Man, so we're talking 03-04. Back then I didn't really know how to use FL so the mixing is crap, the levels are all over the place, and I used way too much polyphony, but here they are anyway.

If I still had the old project files I probably could have fixed them up, properly produced them, and they'd have turned out pretty good. Ah but that sentence started with "if" so you know that's not gonna happen. The really, REALLY old music that I did, "mega man fm", I don't think exists on the internet anywhere anymore. And I don't have it either. So that's toast as well.

May as well also mention, the finger still isn't fully healed. The bruise is on the tip of my pointer finger which makes it too irritating to use any kind of drawing/writing instrument. I hope it heals soon because I need work and I need it in the worst way.

COMPLEX

Here's a dialogue-less version of Complex. I had been in the middle of doing scratch tracks on it back in December before deciding it just wasn't worth finishing -- the script was really bad, as I've said before. It had nothing to do with the reels I got or anything like that, this was all on me.

So there's half lip-sync, half no-sync (not that it matters). What would have come next was doing more animation, especially with Kate (the girl), to match the voice acting, along with blinks, music, fx, and then finally the official voice tracks.

There's nothing to really be entertained by here, it's just animation with a story that is only barely comprehensible through visuals by the thinnest strand.

By the way, there's some guy named BSMattW on youtube.. that guy is not me. He put all the BS videos on youtube, which I guess I applaud the effort. But he didn't need to pretend to be me. I don't really get that... it's a little awkward. All official videos will be released under MattWilsonCSS.

Another update later this week maybe.

p.s. man, working on a CRT can be irritating. looking at this blog on an LCD i noticed off-black on Tischele in the header graphic, that was dumb as hell of me.

HAHAHAHAHAHA

Okay, okay guys. This is what you're doing this Christmas. You're watching this. This is the most unbelievably bad animated film of all time. Outdoing Bart the General, neck and neck with the shorts featured in Jerry Beck's Comic Con show. I'll only post the first two parts but you HAVE to watch all 4. I don't care if it makes you miserable.

This really, really made my week. There is finally legitimate proof now that God exists because THIS was allowed to be created for my enjoyment. I mean.. I don't even know where to begin. One voice actor doing every part, the hideous drawings, the geese biker gang, the background music that the producers forgot to turn off, the aborted attempts at humor, the blatant Disney plagarization, the inappropriate foreign language singing... it's one of the most colossal failures of every facet of production in the history of moving pictures. Enjoy.

I'm putting together a reel for 2008. I just wish my tablet PC wasn't stolen because there was M material I could've used for the reel, but now I'm left with the same material as the last reel. Other than that, there's a ton of new stuff in there since the last one. The reel might be ready to go tomorrow.. one Kappa clip is actually pre-final animation because I couldn't get access to the final compiles, but I don't know if that will really be a problem.
